For whatever reason, something brought you to this page, and I don't think it was my advertising skills. You could have clicked on any of the trillions of pages, but you clicked on this one. Why? What are you looking for? My guess is the same thing I was almost two decades ago: a life built in your own vision! Well, if you give me six minutes, I’ll explain how I can help you achieve it.
You see, when I realized being an employee was leading me on a path that prevented me from living the life I wanted, I quit. I had no plan; I just knew I needed to find a different path. For over a month, I felt lost, struggling to find what I wanted to do with my life, until a random 30-minute call to my cousin, a real estate agent in Chicago, changed the course of my life.
When I was introduced to the world of real estate, I knew I had finally found my path (even though I wasn’t sure exactly what the ultimate path was). Except I entered during the heart of the Great Recession, when no one was buying or selling. I was also broke and had little education available to help me. Over the next few years, I did whatever was necessary to survive, while spending every free moment learning as much as possible about business and life. After working 360 days a year for nine straight years, I finally achieved my goal of winning a top producer award.
Winning the award accomplished everything I wanted to achieve on the sales side, though, and I was ready to try a different path.
Throughout my sales journey, I saw how little education was available for agents entering the industry. It seemed every agent I met went through a similar experience to mine. So, I decided to open a brokerage based on helping new real estate agents by providing them with everything they need to succeed. We offered more education for new agents than any other brokerage in our market and even built a custom mentorship program that helped new agents sell (and earn) 2x4 times the national average for an agent in their first 12 months. We grew the company to two offices, 66 agents, and an annual production of around $200 million. But, although the brokerage was having success, I still didn’t feel I was on my ultimate path, so after almost a decade, I sold it.
I wanted to help a lot more new agents and was looking for a way to do this when the idea of writing a book came to me. So I started writing.
I worked on the book as often as possible and finished it in a few months. But after the first draft, I realized that one book would not be enough to really help agents learn and build a business quickly. To do this, there needed to be two! So I split it up into a main one that teaches you how to build your real estate business and a workbook that helps you build it at the same time. Unfortunately, this meant not only did I have to rewrite the main book, but I also had to create a workbook from scratch. So after two years of working until one or two in the morning, and avoiding anything that would take my time away from them, in March 2025, I finally launched my books.
After launching my books, I wanted to let people know about my books, so I tried to get brokerages in my market to allow me to educate their agents for free. But the only one who let me speak was the one I hung my license at. Realizing brokerages were not going to let me help their agents, I tried hosting my own seminars for free. But it became apparent that this wasn’t the correct path either when the only person to show up was an agent friend who had always supported me. After the lack of success for my last attempt to host a seminar, the feeling of being lost started creeping back up on me again. I knew in my heart I could help agents, but I still had no idea how to.
Then, one day, while listening to a podcast, my path became crystal clear to me. I realized that my journey over the last 20+ years was not for me to educate agents in the industry, but to educate agents entering the industry! From the experience and knowledge I gained in my sales career, helping new agents succeed against the odds at my brokerage, and writing books that teach agents how to build a business quickly, I have been preparing for this moment my whole career.
